Azumarill Guide: Builds and Best Items

Update Appointment Pokemon Summary
05/31 Aegislash ImageAegislash

Stays in S Tier

・The nerf to Aegislash'southward Sacred Sword did naught to bear on the Pokemon's effectiveness since the move is mainly used to increase additional attacks, and knock upwards enemies. The result is only a secondary feature.
05/31 Azumarill ImageAzumarill

Stays in B Tier

・Azumarill saw several new buffs that definitely assist it stand on its own. Notwithstanding, it is however not plenty to make information technology as powerful as other All-Rounders on the roster. Still the change may make Aqua Tail and Play Rough the go-to motion combination for Azumarill players.
05/31 Blastoise ImageBlastoise

Stays in Due south Tier

・The nerf to Blastoise's Rapid Spin is, on certain situations, noticeable since it now but gives Hindrance Resistance instead of Unstoppable, assuasive enemies to tiresome down Blastoise while spinning. But since its damage output remained the same, it coushioned the nerf a scrap. On the other hand, Hydro Pump's cooldown was reduced a bit. But since the meta leans more towards Rapid Spin, it's negligible. The nerf to Hydro Typhoon's damage dealt a significant blow to Blastoise'due south damage. Nevertheless, Blastoise is withal an overall effecive Pokemon that can bargain significant damage with Rapid Spin.
05/31 Cinderace ImageCinderace

Stays in Due south Tier

・Blaze Boot saw a significant nerf to its harm, which may exist enough to solidify Pyro Ball as the stronger move for the Pokemon. Fifty-fifty so, Blaze Kicking can notwithstanding be useful for specific playstyles, albeit with more caution in picking targets. Moreover, The buff Feint received finally makes the motion act more like a proper nuance ability, which may aid attract Flame Charge users.
05/31 Crustle ImageCrustle

Stays in B Tier

・The buff to 10-Scissor makes an offense-focused Crustle more formidable. However, the Pokemon all the same has a long road ahead to claw its way upward the tier ladder.
05/31 Blissey ImageBlissey

Up Arrow to SS Tier

・Both Soft-Boiled and Egg Bomb share activation charges. Although the motion combination had great potential, what made it flimsy before was making sure ane move do not use upwardly besides many charges and lock yous out of the other move. The buff essentially fixes that as yous are less likely to run out of charges in the middle of clashes. This makes Blissey's overall kit stronger than ever, justifying its rising to SS Tier!
05/31 Dragonite ImageDragonite

Stays in A Tier

・Dragonite's set on stat vitrify is definitely a welcome improvement since the nerf to Score Shield and Buddy Bulwark dealt a heavy blow to the Pokemon'south effectiveness and usage. However, the Pokemon still feels the same in terms of its effectiveness in battles, it's neither lacking damage nor doing a significant impact.
05/31 Gardevoir ImageGardevoir

Stays in Southward Tier

・The evolution level change and Confusion's damage increase are well-deserved buffs for Gardevoir since it struggles in the early game. The harm increase to Psyshock could shift Gardevoir's playstyle a bit. All the same, Gardevoir's lack of mobility and durability are yet significant factors that forestall it from moving up the tier listing.
05/31 Greninja ImageGreninja

Stays in SS Tier

・ Although Greninja is nevertheless the defacto Attacker for competitive play, the damage nerf Surf received may make seasoned Greninja players adjust their playstyle a little bit to adjust the change. But, overall, the nerf does not affect the Pokemon drastically to warrant dropping a tier.
05/31 Hoopa ImageHoopa

Stays in SS Tier

・Hoopa has, yet again, seen a number of nerfs to its kit. Specifically, to its UNITE motility, Rings Unbound. Although Hoopa'southward damage output during the unbound land saw a meaning nerf, the move'southward true strength still lies in the teleportation tech for the team. Additionally, both Hyperspace Fury and Psybeam are still powerful moves with their ability to inflict and negate hindrances.
05/31 Lucario ImageLucario Stays in SS Tier
・The nerf to Lucario's Extreme Speed wasn't, in whatever way, significant plenty to reduce the Pokemon's effectiveness since the motility's cadre power comes from the cooldown reset, not the damage. The bugfix to Power-Up Punch was quite a surprise since no one knew that it was bugged in the first identify. Overall, Lucario's changes is not enough to move it down the tier list.
05/31 Mr. Mime ImageMr. Mime

Stays to A Tier

・The buff to Mr. Mime's Showtime! is hardly noticeable in battles. It tin can yet be negated simply past using Total Heal, or Pokemon with high mobility.
05/31 Slowbro ImageSlowbro

Up Arrow to Southward Tier

・Slwobro can now plough to the offensive thanks to the damage and effect buff Scald received. Its move set can at present fence with its fellow Defenders in the roster, having a fashion to get a ranged damage dealer. Plus, the buff to its premiere move, Slowbeam, makes the Pokemon more dependable for teams that need its disabling capabilities.
05/31 Sylveon ImageSylveon

Stays in A Tier

・The bugfix to Mystical Fire will surely make using the motion much more stable. However, this change does not impact the Pokemon's placement in the tier listing in any way.
05/31 Tsareena ImageTsareena

Stays in SS Tier

・The set on stat increase is definitely a surprise considering that Tsareena was doing perfectly well without it. Although quite a pocket-sized buff, it certainly farther justifies Tsareena's SS tier placement.
05/31 Venusaur ImageVenusaur

Stays in South Tier

・Although Venusaur'due south Solar Beam received a impairment increase buff, it's underwhelming, and not pregnant enough to push button the Pokemon up the tier list. The Petal Trip the light fantastic toe and Giga Bleed philharmonic is still lightyears ahead of the Solar Beam and Sludge Flop combo in every way possible.
